Prague, University of Economics (VSE)

Anna Pritolyuk

I have received my Master’s degree in International business in VSE university in Czech Republic. VSE is based in Prague and offers courses for Master’s and Bachelor’s both in English and Czech languages. The difference is that education in Czech is taught for FREE, whereas English courses are contract based. I have applied for an English taught course in Master’s degree. One of the main advantages of this course is the variety of international students and contacts that are built with other students, which makes it a great cultural and language course. Another big benefit of this university is that you can apply for a double-degree with one of the partner universities in Germany, France, Austria, and Switzerland. Upon successful completion, this allows you to receive 2 diplomas – 1 from VSE and the second diploma from a chosen partner university. Alongside, this program allows you to work on projects where lecturers are invited from different companies and industries – from banking to luxury, where lecturers base case studies on real life examples. At this, I have successfully completed my course and am working in an advertising company called Geometry Global Prague as an Account executive.

UK, University of Bristol

Liza Vernygorova

All 5 universities that I have applied to after graduating from college were part of Russell Group, which includes 24 Top universities of United Kingdom. The University of Bristol was one of the best for my chosen course – Law. I highly recommend to visit an open day of universities that you are interested in. This will give you chance to speak to tutors and ask any questions that may interest you about the University of courses. During my visit to the University of Bristol, lecturers answered all of my questions and we also got a chance to discuss career prospects after completing the course at the University of Bristol.

Geneva, INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY GENEVA (IUG)

I have studied in Masters programme of international business management (Masters of Internation Business). I have applied for this course using the exchange programme. University is located in a modern building not far away from the United Nations building. All lessons are taught in English, the university is closely working with international and European companies, which allows students to get practical skills by undergoing different internships. There are maximum 30 students in the classroom, which allows for interaction with the professor. One of the biggest advantages is the high living standard of Switzerland and one of the drawbacks is the cost of living. For example, average lunch cost is around 30-40 CHF as well as high prices for private and public transport. Student accommodation starts from 400 CHF, whereas minimum living cost is around 1100 CHF. European education allowed me to broaden my skills and establish good connections with friends across the world.
